and turbulence control, improved air efficiency by over ten percentage points while reduced air noise
by over 6-10 dB for classroom unit ventilator and downdraft cook-top air-moving systems.
- Developed plastic multi-blade forward-swept non-even spacing engine cooling fans for forklift trucks
and achieved substantial noise reduction, performance gain and structural integrity through design
optimizations.
- Developed PMDC plastic axial-flow fan assemblies with airfoil profile blades and energy recovery
vanes , increased total efficiency by 10-15% over the existing products for automotive A/C condenser
and engine cooling applications.
- Developed and optimized evaporator blower and condenser fan for rooftop RV air-conditioners and
PTAC, achieved substantial system performance gain, sound and energy reduction though air flow
optimization and air load balancing of single motor driven system.
- Developed high pressure induced draft combustion blower for gas furnace and water heater, achieved
substantial pressure capability increase over the existing technology with the same mounting footprint.
- Developed a CFD program for blade design optimization and a fan design software to successfully
eliminate cut-and-try cycles of traditional fan design routines.
